battle food
Strange but true. I love instant potato pearls, I'll even snack on them plan sometimes. For lunch I ate a baked potato and made instant potatoes. I ate them side by side. If food could talk this is a situation that would be fun to hear. The artificial and official. They probably talk trash to one another.

loss of tough blood
I am at home in Minnesota, it is great. I have not been home since last Christmas. Home is good. Kohl's went well, really well, but I've thought that before and it hasn't worked out. I blew the other recruits out of the water. If I'm not extended an offer, something is wrong with Kohl's. They treated us like kings. That was fun. A lot of food and nice hotel. It was fun to interact with kids from other Universities. I have some friends now from Indiana University.
It is cold in Minnesota. Being away for so long, I have lost my tough blood I think. I need to get tougher.

grad app
I have filled out my graduation application and paid $15. What a deal for a diploma, only 15 bucks. Click here to view a sample application. The lady that took my application was really nice and excited for me. It made me feel good.
Well, tomorrow I'm off to Milwaukee for a Kohl's visit and interviewing. I don't know what to expect. Then after that, I'll be home in the Twin Cities for Thanksgiving and family time. Very nice.

wal-mart is a king
I interviewed with Wal-mart today for an assistant buyer position in Bentonville, Arkansas. A lot of people bag on Wal-mart, I would love to be part of that, getting bagged on. They are good at what they do. Click here for an article from Rolling Stone about record labels complaining about getting pushed around. And they quote Mr. Gary Severson who interviewed me today actually. If you're a record label and complain about Wal-mart bossing you around, don't put your CDs in the store. Don't complain.

boarding time
I have pulled a "first." I have purchased a season pass at a skiing resort. I must say I'm giddy. It's probably my last year in Utah and I thought, what the hay. I didn't go all out, I got it at Sundance. It's funny how a lot of people rip on Sundance. To me, it truly is the ultimate deal. It's almost half the price of the big resorts, it's way closer/convenient, and it's better than Minnesota skiing. Sign me up, I'm poor and busy.
I'm excited, the picture below will be me except with a snowboard. I can't wait for the snow to come.
